We were proud to
be the first major Welding Manufacturer to be on-line with a Web Site back in
November of 1994. We will always strive to be on the leading edge of technology
for both our products and our company.
We have been making quality
Welding Products since 1966 when Mike Kensrue started the company with an idea
of how to feed welding wire to the gun better than ever had been done
previously and was able to patent his technological breakthrough. Even today,
Mike can be found in the R&D lab most days still perfecting our products and
designing new ones.
Our Line of Cobramatic® Wire Feeders are recognized World Wide as the standard for feeding soft aluminum
wire greater than 12ft, actually up to 50ft or more is no problem. This can be
done because we use a Push-Pull wire feeding
technique to aid the wire flow through the conduit. MK products now provides welding technology to almost every major welding
manufacturer in the industry. Our advanced line of Mig push-pull guns have
been accepted unanimously as the best way to feed aluminum wire. You'll
see our products used in conjunction with Lincoln Electric, Miller Electric,
Thermadyne, ESAB, Fronius, Hobart and many others.
PosaStart®, the
ability to run wire in slowly for a soft start at the beginning of the weld, was
another breakthrough of ours which has been copied and used throughout the
industry.
MK Products just introduced an
advanced line of computerized welding machines which can automate the correct
setting for all Orbital Tube welding set-ups. This Auto Program Generator
utilizes one of our latest patents, Advanced Color Logic®.
This patented process allows us to correlate colors on a computer monitor with
real time weld data, i.e. red equals amps, green equals volts and so on.
With over 50 Patents, you can see
why we are the leader in advanced technology in the area of Mig and Tig welding.
We entered into the Tig welding market when we introduced our line of Advanced
Tube Welders in 1992 and have all but captured the tube-to-tube market (see the CobraTig150).
Many new products are on the drawing board (actually 3D design work stations)
and in production right now.
MK sells through our world wide network of OEMS, Dealers, and also direct to end users. We recognize
the importance of field support and encourage all of our sells to be through
a qualified and knowledgeable dealer in the user's local area.
Whether you're a new customer or a loyal
user, we appreciate your stopping by to say "hi" and we look forward to
providing for your future welding needs.
